Timberland - Uncaring big company
I've been a fan of Timberland products, but today I received an email sale offer. Ad says Thank you Healthcare workers. Thank you to those on the front lines for working tirelessly to keep our communities safe. As our thanks, take 40% off Timberland Pro Renova Shoes. You are all heroes I go and look but what do I find? Timberland offering 2 styles (5 if you count colors), but only for women. Real nice Timberland.... thanks for NOT thinking of all the MALE healthcare professionals. Don't bother with "contact us" you'll only reach agents in other contries.

Crap. Soles fall of.

These boots are 5 years old but until 3 months ago were boxed and unworn. There is no wear to the sole or the leather boot however both soles have fallen of the leather upper. I will never buy timberlands again. These are just an over priced poorly made fashion item, NOT work boots.

You leave a pair of boots in a box more than likely in humidity and expect nothing to happen to them? *SMH*

I bought several pair, based on my good experience with them in the past. Boxed, up on a shelf in my closet, they don't suffer from "humidity", they look brand new out of the box.

Both of the last two pair, the sole splits/separates from the bottom of the boot. They have a quality issue that is going to cost them a LOT of customers.

I have a pair of Timberland field boots that I got as a gift, I wore them a few times last winter. I put them on this winter and the soles started to disentragate while I was shopping in a store and it was embarrassing. I contacted Timberland and they said that I needed a receipt, I told them that it was a gift. They said that they could not help me. Timberland is selling inferior products made with inferior materials that is made in china. I told them that when their products were made in the United States they were made much better. Timberland will not stand behind their products because they know that they are selling cheap goods from china.

I bought a pair of timberland boots. I am a big fan of timberlands but they are not making there product like they use to. I bought these and within the first 6 months the soles have began to split. I work in shipping and receiving it not heavy work. I am very dissatisfied.

User's recommendation: I will no longer recommend these expensive boots that fall apart on you. If you are going to charge an expensive price at least last 1 year.

Timberland - Buy another brand
The sole of my newer Timberland boot separayed from the boot. I have much older pair and never had a problem. Its obvious that Timberland's quality has gone backwards over time. I wont buy from them again.

I LOVED Timberland boots, wearing nothing but their hikers for 20+ years. I still have a pair of old 95100's that I wore on the Appalachian Trail, and use them weekly for yard work. Every pair since has had the soles come off, starting at the heel. Current pair(and last pair EVER) is model 18193 and they are failing at the flex point, and of course, soles coming off. I believe it is a result of the pursuit to "Go green," using biodegradable adhesives and products that are designed to break down with time, whether used or not. The last pic is a shot of my old Timberlands after 10+ years of use. How sad that a manufacturer we once loved and trusted has gone to china for manufacturing and turned against so many loyal customers.

Dont buy not a quality product anymore

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
cust. service refused to help me out. Instead of improving their quality they just lowered their warranty to 1 year. This is the second pair of timberland pro boots that had both boots with the soles crack right across letting water in. This is unacceptable and should steer others to buy a cheaper boot with a better warranty.

Shoes falling apart

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Shoes were worn very little over a couple year period since I have many pairs of shoes. But when I took them out of the closet to use a couple weeks ago, they were beginning to come apart. No excuse for the deterioration while sitting in the dark closet. None of my other shoes from other companies deteriorate while sitting in the closet. The funny thing is...it's my second pair of Timberlands that this has happened to. I'll never own another pair of Timberlands ever again. Why should I? I can't get my money's worth out of them. No pics available since I pulled the insoles out along with the laces and threw them in the trash. Customer service could care less since they were more than a year old.

Appalling Service

Timberland - Appalling Service
I dropped off my timberland Watch for the belt to be changed and for a quote on fixing the face of the watch as some of the symbols had fallen from their original spots. I did this on the 11 of September 2019. Today it is the 17th of October, over a month later and I haven’t received my watch back. To cap it all off, even the staff at their Sandton city store whom I called and approached, seem oblivious to when I will get the watch back, if ever. This is the 21st century, a company cannot be this backward. It can’t take a month to change belts on a watch surely.

May say a 12 month warranty but don’t count on it. Just hype.

I purchased 2 pair of Timberland Pro work shoes At the same time because they felt so comfortable and buying 2 pair at once I received a discount. I left 1 pair in the box and wore the other pair almost every day for about 5 months and noticed the soul was chipping away and cracking. Then notified Timberline returns because of the “ Great Warranty” and shipped them back. Timberland quickly notified me and returned my shoes with a SORRY that I had gotten the normal wear and no warranty will be given. I started wearing the other pair of the same shoe I had in storage about 7 months ago, and the soul is looking great. Lesson learned. Don’t believe everything Timberland puts in writing but BELIEVE this: buyer beware when dealing with TIMBERLAND. They should have just sent me another pair of shoes. Larry Wimmer (765)438-****.

We are a couple and live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We are very disappointed and surprised by the Timberland company.

I will report our problem below:

Four years ago, we bought two pairs of waterproof snow boots, one for each, and a backpack. I've been in a snow place three times with boots, today would be a fourth time we became boots.

I inform you that we are in San Martin de Los Andes, Argentina on vacation, and what is our surprise the two pairs of boots are in this state which as photos show. Please be advised that these boots are kept in a proper place and always clean.

When you bought this model you had the highest price and thought it was the best.

We are here now in a snowy place with no useful boots for these.

Please wait for your pronunciation to respect and arrange your product.

Sincerely your attention and look forward to urgent reply.

Timberland - Poor materials

I purchased a pair of Timberland Pro Safety Boots maybe ten years ago. I have only worn them a couple times due to leaving the job.

They have been stored in my closet all this time. I put them on for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago and the material between the sole and the boot had completely disintegrated. The soles actually tried to fall off as I was walking. The company is taking no responsibility at all.

I will attach a photo of these boots. They appear as though I just took them out of the shoe box.

I sell footwear for a living. Today's soles are due to the change in the EPA regulations.

Soles are just like tires in the fact that they will dry rot without continued use. Hope this helps

Same thing happened to my boots after wearing 15-20 times on weekends working around the yard. Sent them to Timberland and they sent them back stating there was no manufacturing or material defect. Won't buy Timberland or VGC brands ever again.
